Halloween decorations

Halloween is one of those holidays where you try to frighten the whole world.  Gruesome costumes, deathly scares and, of course, terrifying decorations, full of frights and surprises in all corners that evoke images of monsters, ghosts or spirits. If you follow the advice we give here, you can achieve a most terrifying Hallowing decor for your house.  Make your guests spend a spooky night with constant frights so their nerves will be on the edge of their skin.Halloween Decorations

Frights should start at the beginning of the night, from when your guests ring the doorbell.  Decorate your door and the entryway to your house as if it were the Adam's family castle: low or flickering lights, spiderwebs, red-lit wreaths, pumpkins... and you, of course, with a costume that would scare the the most hardened.  Everything necessary for a much less than friendly reception.  Really scare them!

Lighting in Halloween decoration is very important.  Therefore, we advise you to do something basic but very important, change the light bulbs.  Change the white light for red light.  The effects it causes in your house will be spectacular.  You can also make the light bulbs flicker.  For this, you need to unscrew them a little so that they don't make good contact.  That way they will light up and shut off on their own.  This sensation will rattle the nerves of those present.

To decorate the floor, there is nothing better than dead tree leaves.  Pick some up and put them on the floor of your house.  It will give your floor a grim look.  The noise they make when you step on them will also startle your guests.

To give your house a touch of the abandoned look, you can make a type of barricade on some doors, mainly the ones your guests are going to use: the bathrooms, kitchen, etc.  This effect, making it difficult to open the door, will make them think well before crossing the threshold. Sound effects are elements you don't usually think about but that spook people a lot, because they don't expect it.  Prepare a CD with wind noise, wolves howling, frightening screams or things you think will scare them.  We are sure that it will be a success.

Windows are also an important part of Halloween decoration.  To decorate them well, you can make shapes of bats or horrifying hands in black cardstock and stick them on the outside of the glass.  Between the little light the room will have and the effect of the figure with the lights outside the house, it will surely create some mysterious shadows that will scare even the bravest.

Another trick with the lights is to light the floors well but the ceilings very little.  This way you won't really see from your point of view and furthermore, lights from the floor make some terrifying shadows. If you have a garden, you can take advantage of the hedges, fences or shrubs.  Put white sheets on top of them to imitate ghosts.  If you can put a source of light close to them, the effect will be even more terrifying.

This ghost effect and that of an abandoned house can also be used inside the house.  Cover sofas, chairs or anything.  This touch will give an abandoned look that people will surely love. Well, as you can see, the options are endless.  You only need a little bit of imagination and a strong desire to scare your guests.  Enjoy the night of the dead and may everyone have a terrible time with fright!!
